This unit is TINY and CAN NOT be seen at night.
The description says: “easily view all gauge readings regardless of the angle or lighting conditions”
NOT TRUE !
With no back light it CAN NOT be seen at night. USELESS for night riding !

I like this temperature gauge quite a lot, but I’ll never buy another one. As nice as it is, build is shoddy and seemingly designed to be a throw-away. Two problems:
1) The cable connecting the sensor to the gauge is remarkably fragile, almost certain to break with use.
2) The fact that the battery is designed to be non-replaceable (in fact, not even removable without destroying the entire gauge assembly) underscores that this unit is intended to be disposable.
When I next need one, I’ll look for another solution.
