We had to replace the actuators (two different parts) for both the front doors. This worked great for my 2014 Prius Two. They were easy to install and doing it yourself saved us probably $300-$600 per door. There are videos on youtube to follow.

This fit my 2013 Prius Plug-in. It wasn’t as hard to install as I thought. There are good videos on YouTube to show the installation. I’ve had it in about a month now and it’s been working great. The dealer wanted $380 to replace it. This was worth the effort.

I got this for my 2013 Toyota Prius IV. The drivers door wasn’t locking the other doors when I pushed lock and it wasn’t unlocking when the other doors would with the fob or the in-car controls. I had my body-shop guy install it and it took him ~45 minutes. He said that he had never taken the door panel off of a Prius or else it would have been much faster. If you are mechanical, you may be able to install this yourself. However, if you aren’t mechanical, don’t have the tools, or the time, it should cost you only ~1hr of labor to have this installed. All of the clips on my interior panel stayed intact and once the original actuator was removed and compared to this one, it was indeed OEM. I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t falsely advertised and the part matched perfectly and fixed my problems. Now my locks snap open and closed with an increased vigor and speed that I didn’t even know my locks had lost. I am really happy with this product.

I got a real OEM part and it fixed my drivers door locking/unlocking problem.

I own a 2014 Prius five. The actuator sent was beautiful, clean, already lubed and ready to be installed. Just finished installing right now. Tested everything out several times. Everything works, remote fob and all handle functions, EVERYTHING works properly so far! It’s been a hassle finding a part that would actually work properly (tried cheaper non-OEM options; total waste of time and had to return them) and this part finally stopped the Prius’s constant beeping alerting to replace the bad part. Very happy here!! Thank you! I’ll be taking advantage of the warranty option for this particular part offered by the seller by sending the original failing actuator that came with the Prius to the seller. Thanks again!! Very happy!!!!
