Perfect fit and replacement for worn factory rubber bushings, improved shift feel with no more sloppy feeling
Devon Lee –
If you have a Hyundai Tiburon, you NEED these.I installed these before my Short Throw Shifter, just to see how much difference they really made, and let me tell you, WHOA! The shifter is much more precise ( even on the stock shifter) and there is no longer any “slop”.

$38 for these? Ahhh, no. Save your money. Only reason I bought these was because I was in a pinch and I needed them quick and didn’t have time to dig out my lathe. These things first off aren’t worth $10. The ones I got, the ID bore for the pins, one was over sized by .009″ and the other was undersized. I STILL had to dig out my lathe and bore the bushings out and make a sleeve for the other and press it in. Preposterous. Crappy machining crappy quality control. If I paid $10 for these I wouldn’t be so upset.

Absolutely wonderful part. The original part was a stupid design in general.

Not like your standard bushing material (rubber), so it will last a lot longer
Super easy installation and works exactly ad it should

The larger bushings on the new one is the same size as the small one.
( the one in the pictures are the stock ones… the ones I replace with the new ones ) so because if this . I couldn’t put the weight back on . Furthermore now the shift feels pretty horrible now. It takes a lot more force to shift and something feels off. Like something is rubbing
Edit:
Made the bushing and the weight fit… feels the same as before. Maybe this isent the right one for the 5dpeed manual… horrible

Definitely improves the shifter feel but it also depends how worn out your original rubber bushings are I guess.
Really easy to install, pull out the two metal pins from the old rubber bushings and replace with these firmer ones. Replace the small fitting first to avoid any extra tension when trying to align the pins. Takes a total of 5 minutes to replace.
