I thought i was going to save myself a little cash buying these as opposed to OEM. Both Outer CV Boots failed at the same point, indicating a manufacturing defect. I first noticed the drier’s side one go at about 2,000 miles. First hint was the smell of the packed grease hitting the exhaust pipe and reeking. Checking the seam in the center of the boot separated. The other did the same thing, at the same place 1,000 miles later. I now have to replace them both, so i really didn’t save anything and bought myself a lot of extra work to boot.

The machine work on this axle was excellent, and it fit like a glove. Easy installation. I replaced the entire axle rather than replacing only the rubber boots (which had split) on my old axle. Now I have a spare axle in an emergency.

so far so good, direct fit, not necesarily and easy fix, but simple enough. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE TORQUE SPECS ON ALLLLL NUTS AND BOLTS
