good muffler. put it on my v6 Tacoma keeps the same deep sound but just quieter.
Jeffrey L Ostroff –
This muffler was perfect for my 92 ford ranger 2.3L it has a deep raspy tone, but is still very quiet and not much louder inside the cab then the stock muffler
X-FACTOR Automotive –
Nice sounding muffler. Not too loud, just a subdued rumble. Nice heavy construction, nipples fit the pipe tightly. Nice muffler for the money.
Oscar Parra –
Installed on a Toyota Corolla, was perfect for my taste, not to loud to attract cops in California. Affordable muffler.
Oscar Parra –

I love this muffler, especially for the 27 dollars I spent on it. I purchased the 2in offset inlet/outlet.
I have a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2L V6, and had some time ago cut the factory muffler out. Honestly, I’m not sure why. That being said, hearing that roar for close to 4 years now, it was starting to drive me a little batty. I literally searched for the cheapest possible muffler I could get, without doing cheap glasspacks, and this came up. I thought, it’s got to be quieter than what I have now, and it can’t possibly be any worse, let’s try it out.
I went to a local shop and had it installed for only 45 bucks, and immediately the difference was apparent, and wonderful. It’s got a nice mellow tone, and when I romp on it, as I very seldom like to do these days, I hear the very distinct and very enjoyable sound I used to hear at full blast, only now it’s slightly moderated. This does not do a lot to change the tone of the exhaust, which I rather enjoy, especially on a vehicle that doesn’t have a large displacement, or large number of cylinders.
My one complaint, is that first thing in the morning, there is a bit of a rasping noise coming from the muffler itself. Not sure if it’s the way it was installed, or just something inherent in the design of the muffler. It’s just very similar to a small piece of metal very slightly rattling. I double checked for leaks, but there are none, and once inside the car I can’t notice it. As soon as I accelerate to any degree, it goes away, so I’m not going to really knock the thing to much for something I can’t necessarily blame on the muffler.
Do yourself a favor, and buy it.
