Perfect replacement for my Chevelle. I messed up the original throttle cable and needed a good replacement at a fair price. This throttle cable is an exact fit, even better than what I had, and at a fraction of the price of the restoration shops.
The plastic end that snaps into the pedal is perfect and fits nice and secure.
The carburetor end was a little too big and didn’t snap onto the linkage post as well as I would have liked at first, but all I had to do was close the clip a little with some pliers and it snapped on nice and snug.
The length is perfect and doesn’t bend or bind and the firewall grommet snaps right in.
I get full throttle range now, which I wasn’t getting before (that’s how I messed up the original-trying to modify it to get a full throttle sweep).
I couldn’t be happier with this cable. It is perfect.
