I’ve always been impressed with how the blue tipped bolts would hold, and this pair of liquid Thread Lock works really well. The bolts hold very well and the medium come out without a lot of effort, but seem to stay in quite well. The heavy duty needs a bit more effort to pull, but nothing impossible (just get a longer handled wrench if you need it).
I’ve used a bit of the medium on my bike so in a few months I should see how it’s doing against the environmental issues of Florida.

I have had enough. I have a kitchen pot where the handle had to be tightened constantly or else it would make cooking dangerous. I grabbed this pack and slapped on a bunch of the red and tightened her down. *Slaps pot* That ain’t going anywhere. Actually though. The handle hasn’t budged since. It works just like I wanted it to and I never need to worry about those handles coming loose again.

This set of thread locker comes with a blue (removeable) and a red (permanent) with each in their own 50ml plastic bottle. They are each a pretty big amount especially compared to little bottles I have used in the past, so these should last a long time. The white cap does just pull straight off to reveal the nozzle underneath. They do have a odor to them similar to the thread locker I used. I used this blue thread locker on a tool that has a bolt that holds two parts together that are meant to rotate against each other. Before using the thread locker, the bolt would loosen every two or three rotations and I would have to retighten it constantly. It now stays together holding it properly without loosening. The red thread locker did work well on a test bolt and nut that I tried after it fully cured after the 24 hours. I am very happy with the quantity and performance of both of these thread locker bottles.

A while back I put some mirrors on my truck. I have no idea why but on the passenger side the screws were coming loose and this kept happening even after tightening the fasteners again. I think maybe the female threads are possibly worn out. I ordered this product and used a small brush to apply some of the red compound on each little bolt, I believe them to be 6mm bolts. The blue is medium strength but I used red which is listed as high strength. You’ll receive both in your order. So far, so good… which is great. By now the mirror would be loose but with this thread locker the mirror is still on tight. I checked the bolts and they don’t appear to have budged. I’m not sure how I could be any more pleased than that. I’m impressed with the product.

Picked up this Thread Lock Blue and Red pack for some tech repair projects im currently undertaking, and it’s been a solid addition to my toolkit. The package includes both a medium-strength blue and high-strength “permanent” red 50ml bottles of threadlocker solution.
Application is simple enough: clean the surfaces, apply a few drops on the screw threads, screw into place and let it set. The blue version cures in about 20 minutes and fully hardens in 24 hours, which technically is all I need as future repairs may be required down the road. The red version also requires a 24 hour period to cure & set, and requires heating of 250c in order to break the bonds that have set if removal is necessary. Attempted a few applications of the blue solution on a laptop repair job and it seems to firmly hold the screws tighter without the need to overtighten and risk a thread striping situation which is a technicians nightmare.
The 50ml bottles are a generous size for the price—a much better bag for your buck compared to Loctite. It performs as well as Loctite, and overall is a fantastic value. Would highly recommend.

The pair of thread locker liquids come in two varieties, blue and red, with the red having a higher viscosity than the blue. The blue thread locker is designed for temporary holding, while the red is intended for permanent holding. In a test, one drop of each was applied to the same type of bolt, and after eight hours, the force required to remove each nut was found to be similar for both. However, it was later discovered that the nuts used in the test were sloppy fitting, which may not have provided an accurate assessment of the thread lockers’ effectiveness. Further testing revealed that applying a large drop of the thread locker to the bolt and immediately putting the nut on allowed the liquid to fill the gap well. The thread lockers left a whitish film on the bolt after removal. The products come in 150ml bottles, which were approximately one-third full, containing 50ml of the thread locker liquid. The bottles have an unusual lid design, requiring a straight pull upwards to remove the outer white cap, and a pull-up mechanism on the nozzle base to dispense the liquid. The size of the bottles was larger than expected, which could be a consideration for storage. Additional testing is needed to fully evaluate the performance of these thread lockers, but initial results suggest that they may be effective in certain applications.

I like the bottle itself as it has a great cap but the bottle itself also has an adjustable cap which will prevent flow or air when in storage. Unfortunately given the size of the bottle it only comes about 1/3 full which should last for me but not for others based on usage of course. As far as quality goes I have used the red and blue on various bolts and only time will tell if they hold up. If in the event it does or not I will edit and update this review.
