Hard to tell if there is any difference at all? I use the stuff on anywhere from RC cars to real cars. On appliances and more, it has been keeping my RC tires from launching off so it must be working good. The consistency is the same as the other, I did check that much out. It is definitely a better value for the money buying it this way at least in my rural area. So far so good – I will update if I notice any issues.

I got this “Thread Lock Kit (272 & 243) – 3.38 oz/100ml Medium & Strong Strength Removable Threadlocker” for a project I have. The threadlocker comes in 2 variants for different strengths.
Both worked as expected. The whole solution comes with a very affordable price tag and will last for a long time. This is a great value for 100ml. Recommended.

This is a set of two bottles, one each of blue (medium) and red (strong) thread locker liquid about 3.3 oz each. This is a great value for the price, and the thread lockers both hold screw threads tightly. For typical home project use, the blue strength is quite strong enough but still removeable; the red thread locker is strong and bottle is labeled “Strong/Permanent” so I would be careful about using the red liquid on any project where the parts may need to be unscrewed in the future. I give this product 5 stars for reasonable cost, high holding strength, and working exactly as described.

These are the most common threadlocker types I use. I recently tried the blue on a model hot air engine’s displacer rod threads and it did exactly what I wanted. The knuckle was secured, but when I needed to remove it again later, I was able to break the bond. I’ve used the red as well on a part that needs a permanent bond. It hasn’t come loose, of course, so that is technically successful as well.
These are big bottles of threadlocker. They have a fair amount of air space inside compared to contents, but that’s intentional, because the air prevents the contents from solidifying in storage. These products have an air inhibited cure. When you make a bond with a fastener, that excludes the air, and the product then hardens. The large size of these bottles provides plenty of content besides the necessary air space — in fact for me this set might be a lifetime supply of threadlocker — if it keeps well.
A note also about the applicator — it’s a double seal type. You unscrew the outer cap, then pull up on the white base of the nozzle. It snaps upwards and opens the bottle for application. Closing is the opposite. You do not have to snip the tip, etc.
Working time with both of these products was good, in my experience. I will definitely use these on all projects that need these types of threadlocker.

Established brands of thread locker seem to cost a small fortune for home applications. So far both the red and blue products in this set seem to work as expected.
If you need known good, professional performance from a thread locker, you should already know what to get. For random home or DIY projects on a budget, this stuff seems just fine.

I have only used these products a few times so far. They appear to be comparable to the name brand product. That is just anecdotal, I haven’t done any tests like the guy on Project Farm.

Both bottles are good value/high volume. Nice applicators but not sure how best to clear the end tube properly to prevent clogs. I ended up dipping a q-tip to apply it and avoid that potential.
Did a test of blue/red on sizeable steel nut/bolt spun down to mid shaft. After 48 hours I tested the bonding strength: the blue seemed to work as expected and with a fair amount of torque broke free. But the red actually seemed to release even easier than the blue and I noticed the red didn’t seem to be completely dry.
So, jury is still out on bonding strength, but generous amount of product for the money.

The original threadlock is so much more expensive than that, and you only get a small tube.
This is a great deal, and it seems to work just as well.

Surprised to see how large the bottle is….see attached photo for size comparison with loctite bottle. I’ve been using the same loctite tube (6ml) for years. This product comes with both blue and red thread locker…each bottle has 50ml of product….about 1/5 full bottle. Plenty of room to shake well the product before use. I like how the box has detail specs of both the blue and red thread locker. On the side is use directions…useful to figure out how to remove the white cap. The cap say to rotate counterclockwise…but that does not remove the cap. Need to twist and pull to remove cap. Once cap is removed…next step is to pull the tip upward to open. Applying the threadlocker is easy. Tested the blue threadlocker…works just as well as locktite. Dont have any need to use the red threadlocker yet…expecting it to work well too.
