Carburetor worked perfectly on my Briggs engine. Two pulls and started right up. Calmed with all the gaskets you need.

Seemed like a decent product, however, it did not fit the engine that it was advertised as being compatible for.

Bought to replace old carb on B&S 6.7hp “Yard Machines” mower. Had to cut down the original screws (would bottom out) and notch the outside plastic bit to accept the throttle return spring. But mower runs fine. Recommend to examine the photos carefully to compare to the original. The plastic pcs likely will only last a few years.

The carburetor to be replaced didn’t have a choke and this carburetor does. Also the fitment isn’t exact but I made it work. Motor purrs.

Not compatible with Briggs and Statton engine model #580-752710.
The casing size, mounting holes, fuel bowl etc are the same spec as the oem part and fit ok. The issue is with the plastic controls on top of the case that control the internal flow, they are not compatible. I had to dissassemble this new unit and use the parts to rebuild the old. Fiddly, but it works fine.
