The tray holds my battery, and the cables get the zappy zappy up to where it needs to be. But seriously, this kit has worked well, and was easy to install. I relocated the battery of my ’59 Bel Air to the trunk and the cable was long enough even for this barge.

Good quality and plenty of length in the positive cable for battery relocation even in a full-sized sedan. The only thing missing from the kit are positive and negative slip-on terminal covers, which can be easily found at Canadian Tire.

Bought this back in 2021 to move the battery in my old Sentra. The cable length provided is more than enough to wire even a long car, and it has held up pretty well. the rubberized paint in the tray itself hasn’t chipped or rusted, my only gripe with this would be the lack of clear instructions. I suggest you run the wire through the cabin and not the underbody of the car though. And if you want to be extra careful, get one of those marine/audio circuit breakers (90A to 120A) and set it close to the battery in the back in case there is ever a short along the length of the positive cable.

It does what it says and it does it well. The AGM battery has had to be trickle charged here and there because obviously the distance from the motor plays a small role in electrical attenuation with the gauge wire choice, but seriously. I bought my AGM Yellowtop in 2017. Is that really a complaint?! It’s a Christmas miracle! 12/10. 30 stars if I could. Quality product. Good job on this product, guys, you outdid yourselves!

I like the Taylor Cable relocator kit; it includes everything you need to mount an auxiliary battery. The battery tray is large enough to accept most 12v automotive batteries – it’s also heavy, but that’s just a byproduct of its sturdiness. The included cables are thick gauge and the pre-installed connectors are a nice touch. I use this kit to install a second battery in the trunk of my car, and i didn’t need to buy anything else, except the second battery of course.

This made mounting my battery in the trunk easy. All the parts included are well-built. There is plenty of length on the positive cable to get from the engine bay to the trunk. The battery tray is coated in a corrosive-resistant, rubbery material that seems like it will add to it’s longevity. The tray also has enough holes in the bottom of it to create different mounting options. Overall I am very pleased. I installed mine several months ago and everything is still working great.
