These work for the GM style Horizontal Distributor Cap typically found on Vortec V8 and V6 engines ranging from 1995-2007. This is a great kit. Beware that larger wires do not fit in these rubber pieces. You will have to hog them out with a drill to make them fit on larger wires. Well worth the price, and nice to have extras for friends who are willing to pay a little coin for them. You typically will not find these in automotive stores, so keep them.

These are not spark plug boots they are coil ends.

I purchased these Optispark boot ends along with Taylor Cable 73251. I wanted to route the wires in a different path than the factory since I have long tube headers.
They worked well but are a pain to install. Even after lubricating the heck out of the boots and wires they were still pretty difficult to install. I even used the Taylor crimping tool. Once I did get the boots installed they worked fine. I got an audible double click from all 8 boots when I installed them on the Optispark distributor.

Used these to make a custom wiring harness for my glow plugs. Had to cut the boots a little shorter to make them fit properly, but in the end it worked like a champ and looks like a professional harness.

Worked perfect for my 97 lt1 with optispark LTX swap

I could not use these for regular plugs. The terminals are for plugs with “screw on” ends.
I had to buy others.

Used these in my LTCC conversion on my 93 LT1. Firstly, 8mm wires, at least the 8mm Taylor wires I used do not fit. I tried drilling one out, but you lose the little depth ridge in the white piece. I found slicing the white centers length wise with a razor knife for my LS coil conversion worked perfectly. Secondly, get a good pair of spark plug wire crimpers, it’s worth it. Lastly the white centers come packaged backward in the rubber boots.

They work but good night they are hard to get ok cables even with liquid silicone. But good replacement for end of lt1 optispark. I would spend maybe hour a plug.

The package didn’t display online well enough to show the type of terminal. No use to me but, i took the chance.

Seems like a good product but it will only work with screw on style spark plug terminals. Will not work with conventional spark plug tips. Wish the picture had been better, then I would’ve known.
