I need the unit to work in this way. You power up the unit and Nothing happen. If within 60 to 120 sec a fingerprint is not scanned, the relay goes ON. If instead it is successfully scanned, relay stays OFF. Please let me know.

Perfect for opening auto door from the outside. Connected it to an actuator. Will remove door handles and use as access into the car.

The unit seems to be a nice unit, however the instructions for it are absolutely TERRIBLE. Much too much Broken English and there’s numerous incomplete explanations.
Things like “in jog mode the settings can be freely selected.” What?. What is jog mode, how do I get into Jog mode, how do you “freely select different settings like latch time/release. What do the various color rings represent. Yellow, red, white – you need to have a list so customer’s can understand what the unit is reporting.
Someone needs to write a clear set of instructions in PROPER/CORRECT English for this unit.
I’d like offer you my services to do that if I could make heads or tails out of its setup. The relay settings also don’t make sense. There’s 2 relays but they don’t have any real-world useful settings.
Vendor – please provide me an email address for you, I’d like to email you to discuss providing you with a clear, concise set of instructions for your device si you can offer these to your customers. I have seen lots of complaints in the comments about the user manual you offer presently for this device.
I have several questions and if you can clear up some confusion regarding them I’d like to offer you my services to write you a proper English set of instructions. I have written many user manuals for technical systems for several clients.
I know you’d be very happy with the manual I’d provide for you.
Can you please explain what the 2 white 2-conductor Jack’s are that are circled on my photos
And what are the 4 holes on the rear if the unit?
Are those for CAN bus or UART data in/out?
I’d like to see if these are able to communicate via Python or C++, or UAR, TTL, etc so this can communciate to an external control system.
The 2nd relay should be programmable to trigger for just about any user defined trigger. Examples – (Unrecognized Fingerprint, or trigger when a 2nd user’s set of finger prints is read. Or Left index finger triggers relay 1, right index finger triggers relay 2, thumb triggers both,
Also toggle relay’s latching, 1st recognized print turns on, same print 2nd time turns off relay.
Can I connect a pair of wires to your board that can act as a remote “push to learn/program” so I could remote mount the programming button which is presently soldered onto the corner of your board.

This device is perfect for any projects where you want to secure something with a fingerprint. Easy to set up when you follow the instructions that come with the product. I highly recommend this device! The price is very reasonable and the quality is fantastic!

I like the idea and if it worked
I don’t like guessing and causing damage connecting it without instructions or idea how to wire it up. Came with a 2pin with 2 black wires a 2 pin with a black and a red, a 2 pin that is the card reader and a fingerprint reader which is easy to know where it goes. The other 3, have 4 choices of placement, and there is a larger which slot empty
Don’t see how to set jog time and function
No idea how to wire the relay.
Cool idea, If you can make it work would be worth the $.

Seems to work well. Came with a card scanner back up too. I am using this for the main ignition turn on for a custom built car. This switch is triggering a relay to turn everything on.

I own a RAM Truck which has a record of being stolen a lot. I added this device with a some additional circuits to disable starting the vehicle. Now you need a finger to start the vehicle in addition to the fob. Remote start still works but keeps the Truck locket in Park with the engine running. Installed it about one year ago and used it every day, seems reliable and looks good.
