I have seen a lot of complaints over this specific terminal add-on, but this isnt about those peoples experiences, its out mine.
I have a difficult setup which made installing my 370 amp alternator for my system an absolute nightmare. This allowed me to add extra posts for the Big 3 kit that was installed for my alternator and made my day. Now that it’s all wired ultra and running smoothly, my smile is from ear to ear. I am not able to post an image due to my car being in the shop getting new skin at the time of this writing, but believe me when i say, I’m satisfied with this terminal add-on. Great brand and totally worth the money.

This should be a 5 star product, and it would be with a simple change that is already in one of the product photos, but the clamp onto the battery leaves a lot to be desired. It first uses a tiny M5 screw with a poorly machined T20 torx head. I’ve tried 5 brand new T20 bits and the screws all have play when tightening or loosening them and on the main clamping screw specifically, this makes it super easy to strip out.
The other major issues with this clamping style is that it requires the terminal to be tightened from the side and not from the top. This presents a legitimate safety issue since you run the risk of grounding a driver while trying to tighten this. The battery holddown bolts on my vehicle are grounded and well within reach of a normal size driver while tightening. This makes it easy to ground from the positive terminal to the battery clamp with no fuse in the middle which is super dangerous. It also makes it impossible to tighten in tight engine compartments, which is basically all modern cars, and as others have pointed out, some batteries have recessed terminals which this will be impossible to use with.
On the product page, there is an image of a version with a traditional machine bolt and nut which would solve this issue, but unfortunately this is not the product you will receive.
Beyond that, this is an awesome product, it is just one solid chunk of brass which should work exceptionally well, it’s just a shame they decided to use such a bad clamp design, especially when they have a picture of the fix…

These seem to be high quality with the top post option which seems to be hard to find, but annoyingly there’s only 1 per package. I’m not sure how that helps, as in most applications you’ll need two, and the vast majority of these terminals all come in packs of two. So these are extremely expensive for a single terminal.

I like the solid design. Coated brass. I used to attach the accessory wires for my jeep by crimping ting lugs on and using the cable clamp bolt to hold it. Acid weekend the ring, then breaks off. Now, I strip the wires. Bunch the small ones together by twisting them then inserting and lock in using the set screws. Even the main cable. I attached the terminal post to use with jumper cables. Very very smart design.

This should be the the absolute best battery terminal, except it has difficult to use T screws that should be another cm longer and I was not anole to fit my 0 gauge in the terminals and had to use a reducer. Otherwise this seems like it’s got more than enough options for connecting and allows original factory wiring to be easy connected with the post included

If you plan on running 0 that’s this makes install and temporary disconnect a dream. My Foresters factory terminal wouldnt be ideal to run a eyelet terminal off. Use a 0 to 4 adapter drop of locktite wrap it in electrical tape to stiffen it up. It comes with two post adapters there’s no reason you can’t make this work you might have to make a tool work for you like in the photo Going to order a second for the negative to do a second battery and Big3. If the terminal is loose do not use the aluminum shim go get some lead flatten it and use that.

This product is a nice idea that – if done well – could solve a problem not addressed by other products. Unfortunately, the product doesn’t work. The torx screw heads are too fragile and strip easily. Worse, the mounting sleeve for the positive battery post is too large, and it can never be tightened down enough to prevent the terminal adapter from spinning on the post, or from being able to be pulled off the post altogether. When I attempted to tighten the set screw, the torx head stripped, and now the product is useless.
