I bought this unit to replace the leaking OEM hose on my wife’s Lexus RX 330.
I paid less than a Benjamin for this. The dealer wanted six Benjamins. Shops wanted 9 to replace the hose while dealers wanted double that. I decided to do the job myself.
It’s a tough job I tell you. I could probably finish it in a day but it’s a sauna where I live so it took me about a week. I couldn’t bear working when it’s hotter than 94 degrees under the sun.
You will remove the wipers, motor assembly, battery, intake hoses, vacuum hoses, intake manifold, wheels, under skid plates… it’s a huge pain in the behind. But you do save money doing it yourself.
On parts alone I saved 5 Bens. I replaced it in 2019 and now the hose is leaking. Definitely not OEM quality but I did save 5 Bens. It’s an old car and if I can use it again for 80 bucks a few more years I’d say it’s worth it.

Arrived on time, perfect fit. Had a shop tell me $1500 to fix my leak!! Less than $75 but it took about 6 hours to remove the intake and all necessary to access the part. Tedious but not overwhelming.

It is the exact replacement PS hose for my 05 RX330. It’s reasonably priced, well made and comes with copper gaskets. It’s working so far.

This part was a perfect fit in my 2005 Lexus RX330. The quality appears good with all crimps on the hoses tight. The job turned out to be rather difficult since two of the mounting clamps were behind the engine intake manifold. I tried to resist disassembling the intake system, but eventually ended up removing everything in the intake system including the throttle plate. Also needed to remove the windshield wiper system and the tray under the window and disconnect the heater hoses. Spark plugs were overdue for replacement, so took the opportunity to change them also. The magnetic spark plug sockets they have really helped here. Also ended up buying a set of flat (no offset) combination wrenches with a ratchet on the closed end that were a wonderful help getting the bolts out of the back of intake manifold and by wrapping some tape on the bolt head when resembling so it was a press fit to the wrench made all the difference in getting these two bolts back in. Perfect fit for my 2005 Lexus RX, almost like they’re the OEM supplier. Took about 5 hours to replace but that’s not the hose manufacturers fault. Make sure you attach both ends to the PS pump and Steering Rack the fasten to the top of the Rack before attaching the mounting points to the firewall otherwise you will struggle. Also, had to move the hose mounts a bit but still nothing wrong with the way this hose was manufactured. If you drive in anything below -10°F make sure you warm up your car before driving and you probably won’t need to do this labor intensive job again.

Noticed a growl while idling , lol and behold the power steering reservior was empty ,dealer could not find a leak, after removing the plastic skid plates under the car found this part leaking all over the drivers side , simple part but the intake manifold has the be removed as well as the intake ducting and filter box, also a tip , do not remove the hoses to the maf airflow sensor just unbolt and place to the side (see pic) the royal pita is the rear intake manifold bolts , as well as the banjo bolt/sensor on pump, remove the passenger wheel to access, note : rear intake manifold bolts are 12mm you will need an assortment of metric common sizes used 10mm,12mm,14mm,. This part is half the price of Oem I will update review if it fails prematurely, also I noticed the rubber grommet upper drivers side will not fit as bolt is too short to utilize
