- Pressure Hoses exceed original equipment performance standards (SAE J2050) with a max working pressure of 1,500 psi a burst pressure rating of 8,700 psi and a tensile strength of 1,600 lb. This provides exceptional durability and long life
- All tubing is manufactured from high grade steel and electroplated with a zinc coating (chromium III), delivering superior corrosion and rust resistance against elements such as high humidity, road salt, water, and grime
- Each hose is precision engineered to exact fit and includes brackets, grommets, switch ports, heat shields, bushings, and protective sleeves as required for to ensure that all wearable parts are restored to original condition
- Every hose is subjected to a high pressure quality assurance test before leaving the factory, ensuring trouble free installation and operation of your new hose
- Hoses are made from multi-layer reinforced rubber and have a synthetic rubber coating that is highly resistant to oil, ozone, and heat. Hoses have an operating temperature range of -40 to 310 degrees Fahrenheit, exceeding original equipment requirements

Good OEM part.

After being installed and working properly for 1 to 2 months on my truck, the small o-ring that was installed on the side that goes into the steering column failed and cause a massive leak of power steering fluid leak all over the engine compartment and the street. After replacing the disintegrated o-ring with one from the old power steering hose it work perfectly without leaking all over the place. Which i keep getting a constant reminder with the power steering fluid on the street, even after trying my best to remove / clean up. Gladly it did not end up going down the storm drain.
Sunsong Company, please upgrade to a more robust o-ring type. The o-ring basically disintegrated and caused the leak path from the power steering fluid the leak all over the place. Which is just totally a big inconvenience.

These are a bit of a PITA to install on the Titan or Armada. Its the array of hold down clamps, that will be filled with grime if your doing this. Besides that, it worked great and I don’t leak any fluid.

This fit perfectly on my 2005 Nissan Armada and it’s every bit as good as the OEM at less than half the price. I highly recommend you take out the passenger side wheel-well as it only takes ten minutes by removing 5 or 6 screws and about the same amount of plastic grommets. Doing so will save you a huge amount of time when removing, and especially when threading the banjo bolt back in thru the banjo fitting on this power steering hose. It will literally save you 30-45 minutes of complete frustration and dirt tears, I promise. If you find lots of gunk buildup like I did from your old faulty pressure hose, then I highly recommend you immediately cover the openings with some kind of tape or sandwich bags over the open connections once you remove the old hose. This is because you will need to remove the low pressure power steering hose connection in order to gain access to the medal tube end of this high pressure power steering line. It’s way too easy for small gunk particles to fall into the tubes, of which there is no way remove them once that happens.
Last, save yourself lots of time and aggravation by purchasing a set of flexible wire hose clamp pliers. This is precisely what they were made for, because I tried removing the clamps with curved long needle nosed pliers and I wasted well over hour, just on that one supposedly simple process.
Wait, one more big tip – you only need two (2) four ounce bottles of power steering fluid (I bought mine from the dealership for $4/ea.), this is because the only fluid you will lose is what was in the hose and fluid tank. The power steering pump doesn’t allow the fluid that’s in it to run back out (kinda like a one-way valve).
Last, when you run your engine for the first time after you’ve filled your power steering hopper with fluid, it will make some strange noises for about five minutes or so, and it will make your fluid very foamy as it is flushing out the air that was built up in the lines. Unlike having to bleed your brake lines, this will all settle down and go away by itself, so you’ll be good-to-go as soon as foam and noise goes away. Good luck, you’ve just save yourself hundreds of dollars.
