This is in a car I don’t drive often, the motor didn’t last a year.

Only 2 stars for ease of install because there is NO power window regulator that’s easy to install. The value is 5 stars all day. This thing is $300 less than buying it from Ford and it works flawlessly. If you’re not a mechanic or VERY mechanically inclined, this is probably more than you want to take on. Factory rivets need to be drilled out and there is a lot of disassembly needed to get the old one out…….but for the price, it’s a no-brainer

I liked that the part was designed to replace the old oem part. The square plastic portions fit into the existing riveted rail on the window so I didn’t need to replace that part. The old oem part used rectangular plastice vs this new part using square plastic so not sure how well it will hold up. Also, I got the window off track while installing requiring loosening and re-tightening new part. This pointed out that new part was mostly aluminum instead of steel. One bolt stripped the threads on the new part. Hopefully it will hold for a while though.
Update 2/1/2022. Motor still works; however the metal that holds the quarter round teeth to the motor has separated to the point it barely connects with the motor teeth. Some teeth now being chewed off due to mismatch and popping noises due to teeth slipping when window near being fully up. I think I’ll go with a more expensive Motorcraft part this time to avoid having to replace every 1-2 years. As suspected originally cheap aluminum where steel should have been used. Original 4 stars demoted to one.

This fit perfectly, and because they designed the plastic sliders to fit the original track, I didn’t have to drill out the old rivets and instead I just slid the new mechanism into place and had the whole thing done in under 20 minutes!
I think this was also the best price I saw anywhere online.
