Lasted less than a year on my Tracker before the locking mechanism/tumblers screwed up. Seeing as this vehicle is only driven in the fall & winter, I doubt I even filled up the tank more than 25 times.
But, at $10 for a new one, I can’t be bothered to return it. Hopefully, the second one I ordered will last longer. I know the Stant locking cap I got for my F350 has lasted 5+ years without any issues.

At the time of this review, 29 Nov 21, there appears to be a serious warehousing problem.
I ordered the Stant locking gas cap, part number 10595, which definitely fits my truck. Tried ordering it TWICE.
I received a gas cap in the Stant 10595 box, but the cap contained in the box was NOT even close. It was a cap manufactured by MotoRAD (could not see part number, just manufacturer brand). It was not a threaded cap, and wasn’t even a close match. Didn’t fit.
Ordered this twice from Amazon. The exact same problem, in both cases. The gas cap in the box was the wrong MotoRAD cap both times. (And I re-ordered the second cap before I completed the return on the first one, so it isn’t the same box getting sent to me twice.)
Returned second cap. Instead went to the local parts store, bought the Stant 10959 locking gas cap. Box contained the right part, and it fits and works great.

This gas cap lock is a game-changer! It’s like having an extra layer of security for your ride. Easy to install and super reliable, it gives you total peace of mind whenever you park your car. As a 17-year-old driver, I can’t recommend it enough—it’s a small investment that packs a big punch in keeping your fuel safe from any unwanted tampering. Trust me, you won’t regret adding this to your car accessories list!

Does the job. You may have to remind the gas station attendant it has to be relocked, it will not automatically lock. The paint is chipped above my gas door & it seems my driver’s side door knob was peed on but no gas was stolen. I’m glad I purchased this

Tried 3 different locking caps for my 2003 Grande Vitara and 2002 Suburban that said they should fit. They didn’t.
This one says it won’t work on my Suburban, fits perfect on both 2002 suburban and 2003 Suzuki Grande Vitara. 🤷
