NOBLE6 –
I only purchased this due to high fuel costs and preventing theft. This fits just like my oem fuel cap on my third gen Dodge Ram. No check engine lights from vapor leaks and It locks and unlocks easy. It comes with two keys.

A bit expensive, 17 dollars and change, bought with other items, came quickly, no freight charges. Fits well and works well. At least I will not have any moron tampering with my Diesel fuel tank on my truck. I feel better about this and will have a more secure feeling in a camp ground.

Other black locking caps fit the ram I have, but they both lasted a few months and the locking mechanism broke. I was going to order another as there is on other options until I looked at the picture of this green one which is the proper color for diesel. So I took a chance and ordered it and it worked. The company should correct its garage info to say it does fit a 2020 ram and those like it.

Locking Diesel fuel cap, priced right and availible.
Take and drill a small hole in this cap and then take no locking cap and pull off the lanyard, and pop it into the hole you just drilled.
No one would know it isn’t an exact factory match.
Perfect for the person who’d thinking one step ahead of thieves. Fuel’s expensive, I got this just incase. Because you never know when you park all day in a public lot, what’s going on.
IT BROKE…….this review has been edited by me. The whole lock mechanism came out and I can still make it work. But GO FIND a metal one (if you can) plastic is crap. Always has been. And if ya have a good grip you could probably spin and break this gas cap anyhow.

If you have a lot of equipment this is something that can save the day- it doesn’t cost much and can prevent a major problem

Tight Fit. Locks well.
… Took me a few tries to figure out how it locked, but once I did, it was snug and would be tough to force off. I couldn’t do it when I tested it.
Glad I got it.
Some sneaky nasty neighbors have been trying to dump sugar in tractor diesel fuel tanks. This is my defense. Will post update if needed. I’m glad I got it.

locking cap works but with a few flaws. the key is difficult to go in because of the key door/cover design. don’t know what the technical term is but its that piece of metal flap that covers the key hole to keep debris out. well this cover doesn’t move out of the way when trying to install the key to unlock the cap. instead you need to slide it sideways while also trying to install the key into the hole. the next flaw is that the fuel cap holds water but i believe the water is only stored under the green plastic part and doesn’t get into the tank. its installed on a dodge diesel truck and parked outside. after the heavy rains i went to put fuel, after i took the cap off i set it on the truck box and water was leaking out about 2 tablespoons worth. truck runs fine so far but its something i wouldn’t buy again. i have it to i’ll use it for now. the only good feature is that you turn the key to unlock then back to lock so can remove the key and the cap won’t relock until gas cap is turn to the tightened position so you don’t need to leave the key inside to unlock and unscrew the cap and it automatically locks when you tighten the cap back on.

My original review: Last one of these I had came with the vehicle and only had one key. This one comes with two keys. Now I can have a key and the wife can carry one, too. No more leaving it in a common area of the vehicle. I’m sure you can see my point in this . . .
UPDATED REVIEW: the cap fit the vehicle (as it should), the keys fit into the cap (as they should), but this cap WOULD NOT RELEASE THE KEYS WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LOCK IT. I am no idiot and I have used this item on previous vehicles. Whatever the defect is, there was no simple way to access the insides to determine what was going on with the locking mechanism.
