This diesel fuel cap can be installed on a 2019 Ford F-250. The manufacturer’s website, and Amazon does not show this to fit “my vehicle”, F-250. I called the manufacturer, Stant, and they assured me this fuel cap will fit. It does. It is not an exact match to the OEM non locking cap. I’ll use it when I leave the truck in parking areas where there is a potential for expensive vandalism to the diesel fuel system. Hopefully this locking fuel cap will be sufficient to deter pranksters, and fuel threat. A great value price at Amazon.

nice product, fits my 2018 f250. the cap I received has diesel only written on it and looks great, lock works well, will probably order more for my other fords. only gripe is the original cap tether will not fit new caps, small price too pay for security.

With fuel prices the way they are I wanted to protect our diesel truck. People are crazy and these fuel prices are crazy as well! This works very well!!! And the price wasn’t bad either.

With the price of diesel at all time high I wanted something to protect my fuel. This cap has been used for now for a couple of months and works great. I have had no problems with vehicle running bad or system codes after installing this cap. Cap is easy to lock and unlock with the key. If you are looking for a way to protect you fuel investment this is a nice cap for the price.

Took a chance on the purchase of this locking fuel cap to have control of what goes into the fuel tank on our 2015 F250 6.7L diesel. It fits perfect, and functions just fine. Inserting the key into takes a little patients in figuring out if the key is right side up so I put a dot on the cap for key orientation. I hope this gives us many years of trouble free service. I wish Stant or someone made a locking cap for the DEF tank.

I like this fuel cap for the piece of mind that nobody is going to gain access to my fuel tank. I have a 2018 F350 Diesel and it works great. Easy to unlock prior to pumping fuel.

Fit perfectly in place of OEM fuel tank cap. If somebody still wants to get to your filler neck they will, this will just slow them down. But, for the less motivated individual, they will just move on to an easier target. My fear is not somebody stealing my diesel, it is a fear of somebody putting something in my tank other than diesel and this is rather cheap insurance plan for that especially considering what a destroyed fuel system in one of these will cost you just by somebody dumping a cup full of cow urine in your tank.

The cap does the job, but the lock is cheaply made and sometimes won’t lock.
I put diesel in my tank and then it took me several minutes of wiggling and twisting to get the lock to lock.
If it won’t lock, you can still drive…but, I’m concerned it may sometime not unlock when I need fuel. Then what do I do??
As far as I know, it’s the only locking cap available, so there aren’t any options.
