Fit my 84 s10 2.8l v6 perfectly. I tried multiple “switches” from the auto part stores that did not work. This works perfectly with my stock gauge.

Installed a new blueprint 400 small block crate engine. My old temp sender was 1/2” NPT and new engine is 3/8” NPT. Temp gauge worked perfect with old sensor and reading was .750 ohms at 65 degrees ambient temp. This sensor fits the hole but reading is 3 – 3.2 at 65 degrees ambient temp. My temp gauge in truck would barely move off cold when it usually runs at 12 o’clock or 1 at normal operating with 195 thermostat. Returned this and put my original temp sender in the intake 1/2” NPT.
