my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 had an ongoing problem with engine idling where RPM would go up and down for some time till the engine is worm. Recently it started doing this on the highway resulting in skipping of the high gear so the car would kick when accelerated from 30 to 40 mph. Since the engine was “racing” the driving was as if it was on low gear with out low gear on. To the point that it was very uncomfortable to drive. Two mechanics looked at it and found no issue since there is no error code indicating that TPS is faulty, I replaced my ICV to no avail. As soon as I replaced my TPS with TH190T all my troubles stopped. It took only 30 min for me to replace it. The engine starts at 1000rpm and with in 30 sec or so goes down to normal idle at 600 rpm. No more gear skipping while driving, got more power on acceleration and it runs much quieter now. Also, car started normally in 6F temperature..Any one that has similar problem do not spend $$$$ just get this inexpensive part and fix your issue.
Would buy it again…

LEGIT REVIEW – Item purchased with my own, hard-earned money

Solved all my problems! 2004 & 2005 Dodge Durango. Our regular shop claimed only Dodge could get and install these sensors. Amazon to the rescue, saved me a couple hundred bucks, and easy to install. Two T15 screws.

garbage. Where the throttle body connect to the sensor that is shown above has a plastic ring that connect to the throttle body, it WILL BREAK!! I sent it back to amazon. This is not a good fit part. You will have High RPM and Horrible acceleration. don’t buy this one, you will see at the bottom of the pic, that the plastic caved in to the sensor. Which will make it ineffective. Buy OEM or Duralast not this one, if you look at the bottom of the pic, you will see what it looks like after 5 starts. the center connection will break against the throttle body.

Muy buen producto, viene con todo lo necesario para poder realizar cambio. Aun no realizo cambio, con tiempo lo haré y subiré una actualización.

I don’t know if they sent me the wrong part by accident or if they sent me a bad one by accident. But when I installed this a very easy part, my vehicle ran worse and would die immediately. Easy to send back not a problem.

Arrived on time, fit and worked perfectly. Fixed timing advance
problems, pinging and misses. Cleared check engine light, on 2002 Dodge Ram Van 5.2 L V8. Bad TPS can cause many problems. Easy DIY , did not come with new gasket or oring.
Connector fit well unlike others I tried. Very happy with purchase.
