1988 Ford Ranger XLT, 2.9 liter V-6. Fixed flooding of last two cylinders. Upon removing vacuum line off of old one, while running, gas poured out. This part was a direct replacement for the old and was good quality

I used this in a 1987 Ford Bronco ii, 2.9 V6. After upgrading my injectors that were the same brand I felt it would be a good idea to upgrade this as well. End result is a nicer idle and proper throttle response again.

This is working perfectly so far on my ’89 Bronco II. The only thing that detracted it from 5 stars was that the hose is several times thicker than the OEM so it comes with a hose clamp and you have to use the original connector which meant cutting the original hose off of it. Can’t complain too much as it was $29 when the OEM was $95.
Symptoms on my Bronco II that led me to this part was fuel in the vacuum lines. The diaphragm inside had gone bad. The original lasted 25 years, hopefully this one will too.

I used to have issues with starting my truck on the first go having to crank it over two or three times to get it to start, but now it starts on the first go! Seems like something small but it’s made me so happy to get it going on the first go!
And also! Looks nice and new inside my 1988 Ford ranger!
