Out with the Old in with the new.
About a 6 hour job. For the first time doing a retro fit. It could probably be done in Four hours or less. The truck started right up. No leaks. The motor is quieter smother. And has better acceleration. Gained 2 mpg passing other vehicles on the freeway is quicker
So far really impressed. Looking forward to summer towing the 45ft toy hauler.

The S&S replacement for my Ford truck’s problematic CP4 high-pressure fuel pump has been recommended by numerous experts as a solution for the OE system’s well-documented time bomb. I’m now confident that I can send my wife off to travel to horse shows without worry that she’ll find herself stuck on the side of the highway with a trailer full of horses and me with a $15K repair bill. I’ve bought and installed two of these so far, one after a cp4 failure which as you may know if you’re here, is a very nasty thing that can absolutely ruin your week. And the second bought here on Amazon for my personal truck to hopefully prevent the issue altogether. SS diesel makes good products and sends clear instructions with these kits as well as the instructions and videos online. I definitely recommend their products.

Everything that you need to replace the piece of junk cp4,it’s time consuming to replace but it’s better than the alternative of replacing the whole feul system.
