Used this filter to convert a ’53 MG oil bath filter to dry element. Worked great. After gutting the oil bath housing and and smoothing it all out, dropped this in and it works like it could have been factory.

Replacement for oil bath/ steel wool carburetor filter. Works well enough to fit for a 1951 MG-TD. Would have preferred if it was not as tall – let say .5 to .75 inches shorter. Diameter wise a good fit.
Cant be too choosey – but may be luckier next time.

The size indicated was the size I got. It fit perfectly. It looks like it will be a good filter. I’ll definitely buy more. I use this on a custom application on a ’90 GMC TBI throttle body.

This seems to be a nice universal application air filter. It is a paper filter, Amazon listing is misleading as it shows different colors and material of filter you will receive. I purchased after reading reviews to fit my Harley Davidson S&S teardrop air cleaner, but it does NOT fit the backing plate of S&S Model E carb. This filter would work for you if the dimensions match the old filter you are replacing.
