The straps are like the OEM straps. They do not come with any hardware though. Order additional fasteners prior to installation

I recently installed this on my 2007 FJ Cruiser purchased in July of 2006. Probably the only reason you would need this is if you live in the rust belt and have a 15 year old vehicle. If this is you, then be prepared to spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to remove the four nuts that attach the plastic gas tank guard from the bottom of the old straps, as mine were rusted solid to the bolts. Even rust penetrant and a nut extractor set was not close to being successful in removal, and my only hope was to use a Dremel with a metal cutting disc.)
Care needs to be taken to support the gas tank while removing the plastic guard, the old straps, and reversing the process. There are some helpful videos on U-Tube. Don’t forget to remove the grounding strap toward the front of the plastic guard, and to re-attach before you consider the job done.
I recommend buying (4) new Nuts (and washers if you can’t match the flare) for the plastic guard attachment – as you will most likely be cutting or at least destroying them in an effort to remove), and buy (2) new Bolts to screw into the frame, as it may be difficult to find any semblance of a screw thread left after removal.
These purchased Spectra Premium ST533 Fuel Tank Straps gave the same fit as the Factory Straps, but were not painted (as I believe the factory straps were). At this point it probably doesn’t matter, as these un-painted straps will likely out survive the rest of the rust laden frame I have! But, if you wanted, you could always hit these with some metal paint before installing them for additional longevity.
Be sure to remove the rubber from the old straps, and add these to the new straps before installation as these will help minimize vibration.
Also, be sure to wear a good pair of safety goggles – as all that falling rust debris and cut metal will be sure to be a real “pain in the eye” if you don’t!

Price was very good. much cheaper than the dealer. I had installed by a car repair shop. the parts from Amazon and the labor was cheaper than just the part from the dealer

Straps fit great and went on easy. Also, they’re about a 3rd of the price of the OEM straps. I compared these straps with the OEM ones, they’re definitely a bit more flimsy, don’t come with the rubber pads, and aren’t painted in an anti rust coating, but I’m not sure if 3x the price is worth those little extras. So these and the OEM straps didn’t come with any of the bolts, nuts, pins, and the non OEM straps (this listing) didn’t come with the rubber pads either. But those parts were easily sourced from NAPA and the dealership for fairly cheap. Also the rubber pads can just be pealed off whatever straps you’re replacing and slid on these straps.

Take a look underneath, does your FJ Cruiser have a low hanging tank? You will notice that the rear metal tank strap is exposed to salt spray from the rear driver side wheel. The rear strap fails first and when it does the front strap isn’t far behind.
Installation is easy and make sure to get a can of fluid film to spray a nice coat of wool based wax on the straps to protect them from future corrosion. You can YouTube mechanic these on with basic hand tools and was done in 25 minute in the driveway with a jack. Lube up the securing bolts into the frame and the tank protector nuts with liquid penetrant before attempting removal. You also may want to hit the Frame bolts with a little heat from a propane torch too for ease of removal.
The driveshaft side replacement is very easy just sliding pins and clips. Needle nose pliers may be needed.
-Do one strap at a time and start in the back.
-Do not fully tighten the frame bolts until both straps are replaced, this helps align the tank protector and the studs on the straps.
-Make sure your gas tank is almost empty for ease of lifting the tank while snugging the bolts
-You may want to pre purchase the nuts that go on the tank strap studs for ease of install

Knowing how the original failed from rust, I do wish these replacements would have been protected with some kind of anti-rust treatment.
