So Honda sells these gaskets only with the vvt solenoid. It might seem senseless to like a waste but I think Honda knows something that we don’t cause as soon as I replaced the gasket I immediately got the p3497. So I ended up purchasing a new vvt solenoid with gasket and all is good. The gaskets here are good and had nothing to do with my engine code and did stop the leak but for some reason removing the vvt solenoid makes it self destruct.

Correct part and works to stop the leak. However, the tiny metal basket was upside down when I received mine. I almost thought it was the wrong part, but I gently removed it and reinstalled it correctly. Works now.

Installed the gaskets but it didn’t stop the leak from the spool valve. Find something else or buy the valve from Honda for $200.
