The media could not be loaded.
I installed this on a Toro 421 that did not have have electric start from the factory. This bolted on directly just like an OEM would have. Only thing I had to do was break out the knockouts on the fan shroud and thread the two lower bolt holes on the engine with a 1/4-20 tap. The bracket on this starter lined up perfectly, the cord was the right length to reach the correct mounting location for the plug/start button, and the mounting holes for that lined up and attached with the included screws. No complaints!

I put it on a convertible engine and it fit right on and fired right up.

There is supposed to be a C-clip on this shaft. Where the red arrow is pointing, the black washer should not be touching here. The C-clip is missing, the starter worked once and then would never turn the engine over again. It would stick the gear in the flywheel and the gear would spin freely on the shaft. Sent company message on website with no reply… not even 1 year old part and used once. 0 stars
