Performed this service on my Q7 few weeks ago. Vehicle was asking for a quart of oil every 250 miles. After this service, currently at 500 miles and oil level is still reading full. Definitely huge improvement in oil consumption. Before this service was done. I’ve replaced the breather valve and oil consumption was unchanged. The low tension oil control rings were definitely plugged with carbon.
