I have an auxiliary battery, at first it worked well, it charged my battery up to 13.3V, now it allows current to pass to the other battery but after a few minutes it turns off with my battery at 12.0 V, this is not a product for professional use such as overlanding.

Perfect relay for my boat to isolate my AUX battery and **only** connect it to the MAIN battery when the alternator is running (detecting voltage at 13V+). This relay monitors the voltage and with a little delay (about 4 sec) will close or open the circuit when the alternator runs. One thing to note, I would NEVER connect a 140 Amps load to this unit, the internals will most likely not survive 140 Amps.
Here are my test results and thanks to highlight if my review, pictures and videos were helpful for you !
********* Test Results for the Relay ************
– Relay Latches ON : 4 seconds after the voltage exceeds and maintains 13.19 Volts, after, the relay will remain latched On (little red LED is on);
– Relay Turns OFF : 4 seconds after the voltage goes below 12.63 Volts and stays below 12.63V ;
– Standby current : Draws only 0.9mA on standby while waiting for the alternator to reach 13.19Volts (Very impressive, only 0.0009 Amps of current draw on standby). Current consumption when the relay is turned OFF, is not even 1mA, so most likely will not drain your battery when on standby current for months ;
– Relay On current : 232mA (0.232 Amps), very good. This is the module consumption, with no load consumption;
– Internal contact resistance : 0.004 Ohms (This resistance is very high and will produce heat inside the module if you use the relay at high current loads, I do not think this relay can handle 140 amps safely).

Overall review : Good relay, a bit out of spec as far as trigger voltages go, but not a big deal. Standby current is awesome and if your like me and use this relay at most for 20 Amps, it will be plenty good.

So far is working very well
