Descrição do Produto: Slick 50 Synthetic Engine Treatment (15 oz)

Makes your engine last longer. My 2000 Toyota Camry has 350,000 miles on it and is knocking now . Just started putting this in my engine when I get my oil changed and is definitely helping. Hopefully I’ll make it to 400,000 lol

I have used this product for years. I put in this product five minutes after I bought the new car. I away tell people about it. Well worth the money and also use their other products.

Been in automotive engineering 40+ years. I have used a variety of Teflon additive products going ‘way back. Slick does what is says it does, noticeably easier to start in colder temps, quieter, can’t say oil consumption is any less, (150k miles on my truck). Have a friend that bragged about how little he spent on oil changes. He paid the price last winter with a rebuilt $7,000 Jasper motor. Treat your car right and you are smart.

Awesome product, I’ve been using slick 50 since 2005 in my Toyota trundra when I bought it new. Now I’ve got over 250k miles on my truck and uses no extra oil in between oil changes. Again AWESOME PRODUCT.

In 1989 I bought Slick 50 for the first time. I had an old 1976 Ford F100 with a 302 engine that at 55 mph had 3 lbs of oil pressure. I tried replacing the oil pump and main bearings to get some more oil pressure to no avail. I put Slick 50 in figuring it was cheap insurance. I had been building another engine to replace the aged 302. I drove that tired engine for another 6 months. When It came time to replace the old engine that was treated with the slick 50, I drained the oil and started it up. I was doing some final things to the new engine and I let it run for about 20 minutes. It had not locked up yet so I drained the antifreeze and let it run another half hour. It still had not locked up. I grabbed the throttle linkage and held the engine wide open for another 10 minutes. The old engine still didn’t blow up, lock up or miss a beat. I ended up turning off the ignition. After the engine cooled off I removed it and installed my new engine. After I broke that engine in I also treated it with Slick 50. I tore apart the old engine and couldn’t find anything abnormal. No scoring, no heat Mark’s, nothing! I’m sold on Slick 50 and have been using it for years. I am an ASE certified Master Truck Technician and have recommended it to many people over the years. I use it in every engine I own. Hopefully this helps someone in their purchasing decision.

Early engine treatment for a new car to extend engine life. I’ve used it on every new car for 25 years and it always works to keep your engine running well for 100s of thousands of miles.

I’m sure it’s a great product however I’m not sure about the mileage value. It says on the use directions to use it every 12,000 miles. Originally Slick 50 had a 50,000 mile life, hence the name.

I’ve been using the Slick50 products for 25+ years. It has saved all of my automobile from being ruined by having no replacement oil and water installed when I had my oil changed/radiator fluid drained but errantly not replaced by mechanics, etc. My daughter drove around in the 1993 Chevy Corisca 3.1 with the water temperature gauge redlining for two weeks, before bringing it to my attention – no damge – still using the vehicle. My 1983 Isuzu Impulse was driven over 100 miles without oil by another at 85,00 miles; and, having been Slick50 treated, didn’t ever burn or leak oil ever, then at 186,000 miles when I sold it. The detractors of Slick50 used NYC cabs, whose engines were never allowed to cool, to falsely claim that Slick50 was not better than regular oil changes – Just another example of the NY dishonesty. Slick50 protects engines from the damage at start up when 95% of engine wear occurs. On the rare occasion of no oil and water being in the cooling system, it has worked fantastically for me and saved me several thousand dollars in engines replacements or repair.
