I purchased this Car Polishing Kit for my drill because I had bought an old set of aluminum wheels for my truck and they were disgustingly stained and had brake dust crusted all over them. I really didn’t think I could get them to shine again. I tied to clean and scrub them with Ajax cleaner but after I was done removing all of the filth and crud, I was left with aluminum wheels that had tiny scratches all over them. I was disappointed and didn’t know what to do until I found this kit on amazon and purchased it.
There are many of these drill attachment polishing kits on Amazon identical to this one and many of those reviews stated that all of the spongy polishing pieces were vacuum shrunk and impossible to get to re-form to their original and intended shape. This SIQUK 38 Piece Polishing kit was NOT like that at all. In fact, I have added a few pictures of the package that I received before I opened it. Each and every sponge polishing head was in PERFECTLY ROUND Shape and form as you can see in my pictures. These polishing drill attachments were ready to use right out of the package. No soaking in water. No waiting for them to expand. They were absolutely ready to use.
So as soon as I received this amazing kit, I got to work.
I found that each color of sponge actually meant something important. The different colors represent different abrasive strengths from fine to a bit courser strength.
I started with the FINE abrasive sponge (BLACK) and it was all that I needed. I attached it to my battery operated cordless drill with the drill adapter that is included and added a little car polish to the sponge and it was magic from that point on. The Velcro that holds the polishing sponge to the drill attachment mandrel is excellent. It holds securely and never slips at all.
Yes it took a little work to get the fine scratches out of the Clear Coat that the aluminum wheels had on them and that I had scratched while trying vigorously to scrub the stains and gunk off of them with a household cleanser like ajax, but with some patience and a little effort, this SIQUK 38 piece Polishing Pad Kit did the trick and it was a small amount of money well-spent.

YES – I would certainly purchase this kit again but at this point, I have enough polishing sponges to last a while. I only wore out 2 sponge heads polishing 4 wheels that were very scratched.
Some of the pictures illustrate the horrible job that was ahead of me BEFORE I used this polisher. I was able to clean these wheels to a high gloss shine which I have not included a picture of.

I would like to give it better stars. But after using one of the orange pads, it came apart from the white backing, and I lost the orange foam pad and came off flying. I hope this is just the only one

Absolutely, would purchase again. Fantastic amount of different pads with two drill adapter attachments. Hook loop on all pads. Easy change. The price is right, low. And the quantity and variation received, high. Worth it. All sponges are decent quality. All hardware pieces are sturdy. Two drill adapters are 1/4” steel.

I was very skeptical I bought it a year ago. Living in NYC and parking outside sometimes. I thought what did I have to loose it’s cheap and probably won’t work. After people keep bumping into my car and seeing scratch all over. After a year later I decided to dust it off and use it today. I put it on my hand held drill and I was pleasantly surprised. You have to get a good quality polishing/scratch removal bottle I use chemical guys VSS and it was perfect as you can see by my pictures. It’s the perfect bang for your buck works and held up amazingly. It even work on my headlights that was getting foggy! It completely removed the build up from it. I highly recommend this product

Worked great on smaller areas like my black wheels. Used orange for removing scratches and black for final polishing. Before and after pics. Velcro backing did start to tear away at the end. These are probably single or double use pads at best.
