I was experiencing a shudder when coasting, and the OBD II was giving a code indicating a bad transmission pressure switch. Not only did the part arrive with detailed installation instructions, the instructions included the diagnostic codes that the replacement switch was designed to address. Replacement of the switch was relatively easy on my 2004 Odyssey with 155K miles. I cleared the code after installation, and after about a month, the shudder has largely gone away and the transmission shifts smoothly. The code has not come back. If this fix works for another year or so without having to replace the transmission, I will be very pleased.

Worked for about 2k miles before transmission error light returned. Thought the sensor just failed and ordered one directly from the dealer. When goingnto replace the sensor, thats when it became apparent that it had just fallen apart. Replaced with oem sensor and no issues, will not buy again.

For starters, the plugs are different colors then OEM which makes things very confusing. Secondly, there are no numbers on the new switch’s which again makes it very confusing.. low quality, one broke on arrival, at least they replaced it.

Very good product. It did not rectified my issues though but; no fault of the device . The only issue I have is; it was missing the washer seal shown on the picture but never the less, I purchased a new washer seal.

Bought this one and another one to replace the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switch on an 04 Acura Tl, after getting quoted $80 for each pressure switch from my local acura dealership. These worked perfect…no more blinking green D-light. Car shifts better

2000 Honda Odyssey check engine light turned on. I checked with an OBD2 scanner and got 2 codes – P1739 and P0131. P1739 meant that there was something wrong with the transmission pressure switch. P0131 is related to the oxygen sensor in the exhaust system. I decided to fix the P1739 code first and looked up online about the pressure switch. I saw this item on Amazon and purchased it because it came with the washer and I thought it was a good buy. I installed the switch and as soon as I started the car, the check engine light was gone. I am not sure why the other code was gone, too. I did not comment on the ease of installation because the switch was easy to install but to access the switch location, you have to remove the battery holder which was a big pain because of one bolt that was almost hidden. You have to access that bolt under the car, through the driver’s side tire well. Other than that, I think this switch fixed the problem. I’ve read other reviews that mention the item working for a short while and then breaking down. I just installed this and will see how it goes later on.
