These are very heavy, compact, high quality switches. I tested the switch 50 times, (on off, off on) myself then gave it to the kids who did the same thing, vigorously, about 100 times. I then used a multimeter to check for continuity and the switch was still functioning perfectly. So, into the boat it goes to prevent yet another dead battery! One thing to pay attention to is choosing one of these that fit the terminal type of your battery.

I havent opened it up to see how the connectors are.
But so far works as intended well.
The Post is actually a nut so it protrudes quite a bit.
If this is an issue just make note of that. If you dont thread it in all the way it could vibrate loose.
Installs very easy. Feels well built

I found it quite difficult to turn the switch because the knob was a bit slippery and required more force to rotate.

The switch was VERY hard to turn out of the box but loosened up slightly after multiple cycles. After performing a difficult install on the battery, the switch refused to move no matter how much force applied. Don’t waste your time.
