I believe in doing good business when I make a deal with someone… for the first time in a long time. I found an Amazon seller who believes the same!! Great product!!!

Does not fit Honda 400 fourttrax, so could not use it and was too late to return.
Still gave it 3 stars as it is well made and fair price for right machine.

  3. Amazon Customer

Gave up on costly part replacement. This plugged right in and other than a slight delay in shifting gears, it worked fine and only took about 30 minutes to install.

  4. William C. Smith Jr.

Took about 40min to install and most that time was spent trying to separate the connector on the 4 wheeler. I did not have the button reversal that others stated. Only took 1 trip but seemed to work as it should.

Had just started having issues shifting gears up and shifting down into Neutral. This seems to have fixed the issue.

My 2005 Honda Rancher 350ES sat for almost 4 years. Was told by the dealership that it needed some internal transmission work/Diagnosis that it would be more expensive to fix it than what it’s worth. Had a friend tell me about this bypass harness. For 50 bucks figured I’d give it a try. The 4 wheeler shifts perfect. If your having intermittent no shifts or partial shifts give it a try. Worked for me

  6. Gene

Was able to utilize the electric shift again. Couple wires were not sitting correctly in the hardness but was able to fix it myself. Screen with speedometer is bypass so I decided to remove it and try fixing the problem.

  7. Sam

It is a plug and play system. Once you remove the front plastic it’s easy to access the plugs in the wire harness. It has enough wire to reach the battery also.

    Replacement for sensors

This populated as a fit for my 2006 Foreman 500 ES 4×4. The installation, one you get your plastics off, is not too hard. Open two factory connectors, plug this in as a bridge between one and direct into another. There is no information on what to do with the factory plug left dangling.
So, when I started I was getting the “angle sensor” fault flash. Now that it is installed I get the “ECM fault” flash but the ATV does shift all the way through the range. HOWEVER, now the control arrows on the handlebars are reversed. So the UP arrow shifts down and the DOWN arrow shifts up. There is also kind of a ghost flash in all the indicator lights during each shift.
I even tried swapping the provided central plugs to see if perhaps they were reversed during the build but that did not help.
There is no way to connect this differently and after years of riding it, learning to shift in the opposite direction, especially now that all the speed range sensors are bypassed, is a recipe for disaster. You can try and hit 3rd at the peak of 2nds range and wind up going to 1st and just about toss yourself over the front bars. I’ve reached out for help and got nothing, so I will have to take it all apart and send it back.

When I installed, this up was down and down, was up on the shifter had to disassemble the shift motor connector on this wiring harness and reverse. The two wires in the plug, then works as it should.
