This was a perfect replacement for my 2013 GMC Sierra 4X4 damaged shift cable retainer clip. No one had it locally. This retainer clip keeps both the lower shift cable and upper cable connected firmly together.

If you’re here, it’s likely because you’ve lost or broken the small copper piece that joins the two halves of the transmission cable together. I had the hardest time trying to find this piece locally. Most places don’t sell it separately.
I decided that this is the closest match to what I was looking for on my 2011 Chevy Impala. It clipped on easily, and seems to perform just as well as the original.
