Works great with our new Makita wet sander. The pads are easy to change and work well. The 50 girt is very abrasive, and I would recommend going to a finer grit quickly. I have yet to use the polishing pad for final work, but will shortly. The number of pads for the money was very good. I used the pads for over 20 square feet of travertine floor tile repair, and had minimal wear of the pads. The key to getting good results was to haver good water flow when using the wet sander.
The velcro is strong and worked well with both lower and higher speeds.

Product was very easy to use. Applies easy. Creates a solid bond. Sands easy. I’m a regular weekend honey-do project guy. This project was a cracked marble window sill. Had no problems. Would buy again.

I do not write many reviews but I was initiallyuncertain about buying these disks and backing plate to refinish my granite countertop based on what people said about the backing plate not securing the disks after a few uses. I took a chance and had no problems and changed to different disks many time during the hours of operation to fully restore my granite. I do not know how people are using the disks to cause them to not be secured to the backing plate but I used a Dewalt variable speed grinder/polisher to complete the job. I highly recommend this product if you want to refinish granite surfaces. When people say that the disks flew off they do not say how they were using them. I used the recommended speed called for in granite refinishing videos and had no problem and the disks last forever. I still have the original disks and backing plate they look great.

En Gdl una sola almohadilla me costaba 450 aprox: por 490 compre 8 almohadillas. Las use de una forma inapropiada. Y aún así duraron mucho mucho más de lo que esperaba, se daño el velcro, pero la cerámica diamante, está en excelentes condiciones después de pulir 100m2

I am still using the 50 grit diamond pad and its still good. However, the backer pad fell apart. The rubber between the hook and loop began to crack apart and fly off in pieces until the hook and loop piece came completely off. I ordered two sets so I went to the second backer and the same thing began to happen. So in summary, diamond pads are performing well, but the backer is terrible.
