Installed on my 99 tahoe and they work great. I thought they we going to be to stiff but they’re not.
Maxi –
Easy to install. Still working great after approx a year.

After returning another vendor’s struts, that Amazon showed as fitting my 1999 Yukon Denali, I was not optimistic about these. After installing just one I knew these were going to work. Sure enough, when I open the rear window, it lifts all by itself. I am the original owner and have not had that happen in a decade. I am stoked.
Also, this is set up for vehicles with the defroster posts attached. Each tip just needs to be unscrewed to remove the tabs if your vehicle does not need these, as mine did not. It took me five minutes to replace and all I needed was a narrow standard screwdriver.
Hope this helps
