October 27, 2023. Only 4-stars until I see how long it lasts in the Arizona sun.
First, always wear gloves.
Second, get plenty of extra “mixer tips” because in 40 seconds, the tip won’t produce any more epoxy.
Third, when you first press the trigger on the ‘gun’ you may see clear stuff – dispense it into the trash. When the translucent stuff comes out, you have epoxy.
Fourth, they don’t tell you to break the tip off the quick set device. That the tip will not screw on is a clue.
Fifth, be prepared to work fast. Work time is less than 30 seconds. Set time is 40 seconds.
Sixth, if you can, rough up the surface. YouTube videos are helpful. If you rough up the surface, the original part will break before the epoxy does.
