I’ve been trying various products on my well weathered and neglected 83 240 D Mercedes. Over the last year and a half, very neglected. I’ve been doing applications panel by panel, and compare between them. This product works well as a polish when used after wash and buff prep. The final look is very nice, good shine and dimension. I’ll update for longevity. I park in the elements, no garage, north side of the building and the elements are rough. Bird droppings every day, and sometimes it can sit for a day or two. So, we shall see. I’m hoping to avoid having to pain her for a year or so, or maybe put off paint for a few years.
What I noticed with this product and this is similar to other better finishing products I’ve ordered lately, is the depth of colour brought out by the polish, actual 3 dimensional depth and a depth of colour. In the untreated areas, she looks chalky like she has a white grey primer, after polish she looks obviously silver grey, with a hint of smoke. She looks to be actually painted. Not a private jet, but paint is paint, right?
Very good, I’m offering 4 stars
