My son was well pleased with these cables. With his current cables he always had to get extremely close to the vehicle needing jumped. These cables are 30’ in length solving that issue. The cables are heavy duty and the clamps are a sturdy metal. This set of jumper cables was made to last. As a bonus there was a tire plugging kit included. Well worth the money!

When I was a teenager back in 1986 I acquired a set of jumper cables that were made from welding cables and welding clamps. I have kept those jumper cables ever since (and have the picture to prove it) because there was nothing…and I mean nothing that could compare. I was able to jump start a car that didn’t even have a battery in it just from the jumper cables alone. But as you can imagine what a 39 year old set of jumper cables look like and they desperately needed to be replaced. Yet I flat out refuse to use one of those cheap jumper cables you find at WalMart or even the local automotive shop because they only work if you have a partially dead battery (or are willing to sit there for 15 minutes while your partially dead battery charges some). These types of jumper cables do not require that. Hook it up, start your car. It is really that simple.
If I have to have a negative for this it would be the length. Although 30′ of cable certainly makes it easy to pull up a car next to yours and not have to worry about being hood to hood just to get your jumper cables to reach…it is quite a bit of cable to store in your car all the time. Regardless, I absolutely love these jumper cables. They are actually thicker, longer and nicer (clamps have copper section where my original ones did not) than what I had (even when it was new back in 1986). I 1000% recommend these jumper cables especially for the price they are selling for! Also…they threw in a tire flat repair kit for free (not sure if they do that with all of their orders, but they did with this one).
Humorous side note…these cables remind me of the movie “Crocodile Dundee” where a guy pulls a knife on Dundee in New York only for Dundee to pull his out and say “that’s not a knife, this is a knife”. Well the next time someone pulls out their cheap little jumper cables I’m going to pull these out and say “that’s not jumper cables, THESE are jumper cables”.
