Like others have said, I bought this one to replace an old one that lasted many many years. This one, 250amp model, didn’t work right out of the box. The charger would turn on, and then reset(turn off), no matter what mode I selected. I thought it might be a battery issue, so I switched to a different battery and same thing happened . Online says this is an issue they know about but don’t fix. Amazon practically forces you to go through the manufacturer warranty process which no doubt would just get you another cheaply made charger. Very disappointed!

Bought this for my housemate. He was always using my truck to jump start his so I bought this for him for Christmas.
It works great! Charges a dead battery in minutes. The handle makes it so easy to roll around where you want it.
Very good product. I highly recommend it.

It states it is an automatic charger, but is it really? It cheese well, and it converts to a trickle charger after fully charged. I don’t like how you have to find the percentage of charge. You have to stop the charger and look at the percentage then restart the charger. Not sure if the type of battery is automatic either, but I have only charged the acid battery (AGM) so I am not sure. I would recommend this one because it does work well.

Bought off brand from harbor freight, it caught fire as did second one. This product is safe , well made and perfect so far. I also trust Amazon for its integrity

This is my first true starter/charger. It has been tested a few times and performed flawlessly. The cables are of a reasonable length. The 115V cord could stand to be a lot longer. I have used it to boost/start my pickup truck and used it to trickle charge a lawn mower battery without issues. It seems to be a sturdy shop tool.
