This sensor did not work to register the coolant temperature on a 2001 F350 with a 7.3 powerstroke. May work on other fords but not the diesel and this is why I gave 2 stars. Need to identify in the description that it is for the gas version only.

Perfect fit for my 1995 Ford 7.5L engine. I like it already had the thread lock on it. I found out the hardway that my engine has two temperature senders, and I replaced the wrong one first…

Put in my 7.3. Didn’t come with the red sealant on the threads as pictured and didn’t work in my truck

My worn out temperature sensor works just wanted to change it with water pump

Junk tested with ohm meter and open circuit , bought oem ford and works perfectly.

Didn’t work I replaced it while installing a water pump the old one worked and still works this one will not read on the dash
