This product it no good for maintaining your battery.I bought two of them too used on my golf carts. I put them in storage for five months and it boiled my batteries completely dry . Had to replace all the batteries. They were only a year old. Not only out the price of two chargers/ maintain but also 12 batteries. Would recommend not buying them.

Just hooked it up to golf cart battery and so far so good. Will not know how well it works until spring and hopefully batteries are still fully charged.

Box says can be left on batteries indefinitely
2 chargers boiled back water in New trojan batteries so one cart 4 batteries had to add acid and water to hopefully bring back to life cost 51 bucks 12 quarts and gallon of water
Third unit box burned up stopped working
This all happened in 4 month period

I bought this to maintain battery over cold winter storage. I have used it this summer to check it out and so far working as expected. I think it would be easier to use if the battery leads were longer. I guess I could remove the seat for winter storage the it wouldn’t be an issue. Very small inconvenience. Bottom line, I am happy with it. Quietly does it’s job.
