There is no magic trick to replacing one of these on a Ford truck just persistence and a long, skinny crow bar to get the clutch lever pushed far enough to get the rod popped in place. That being said, once you get it installed and bled out, it works great. Can’t comment on longevity but I only put maybe 1200 miles a year on my old work truck so hopefully will outlast me.
