Frodo’s Mom –
This is a cheaper version of a great product. It’s much more convenient than having to clean plastic or metal boards, and works better than cardboard and several other disposable options.
The problem with this board is that the paper is very thin, and tears off the pad too easily. It’s functional, but you have to either be very careful, or use a few clips to hold the paper down, or it will not stay flat and still enough to do your mixing.
This set also includes some plastic spreaders and a pair of gloves. Neither of these is particularly helpful for most people looking for this type of product. The spreaders are stiff and cheap, and anybody who needs a 100-page mixing pad probably already has better ones. The gloves are kid-sized, and the wrong type for this kind of work anyway. I would definitely have preferred they skipped these extras and used higher quality paper instead.
Old Rascal –
The onion pad is the way to go! Can’t beat the tear away sheets. The body filler spreaders are easy to use and about what you’d expect. I plan to get this again when the sheets run out.
Phil –
I know it’s frowned upon but many body guys use a piece of cardboard when mixing and laying there filler and it is said that the cardboard drawls some of the oils that are necessary out of the filler. This board makes it much easier mixing body filler being that you have a nice sturdy surface. Don’t have to worry about cardboard folding in your hands or the oils being absorbed into the material. The board has Taraway sheets for easy cleanup.

The Saillong Body Filler Mixing Board Kit is a great asset to have when doing repairs using body filler. You will always have a clean surface to mix on and a way to grip and handle the filler as you are working it. The spreaders are slick and will spread and work smoothly.
Frodo’s Mom –
These mixing sheets get the job done…eventually. The sheets are thinner than others I have use, but the perforations allow the sheets to tear easily. When mixing body filler with hardener, it’s difficult to get it mixed without tearing the sheets off the pad. The sheets seem thick enough, but because they tear off the pad so easily it’s difficult to get the filler mixed in a short time. I’ll get through the pad. I just hope I don’t lose my sanity before I’m finished with the pad. Can’t really recommend.

This is such a time saver. I’m so glad I got this. It is so convenient to use and I can just throw away the mess. The pad is pretty large, so you have plenty of space to mix all that you need. I highly recommend this to anyone who does automotive body repair.
Old Rascal –
This mixing board didn’t work great for mixing fiber strand filler. Several sheets tore away as I was mixing because only 1 edge of the paper has the bonded edge to hold it in place. I’ll try it again when I use a lighter filler/glaze product, but since I prefer to only stock 1 type of item at a time I probably won’t purchase this again.
The included spreaders are pretty rigid, and will work well for larger, flat areas. I prefer a more flexible spreader for contoured areas.

A great way for me to mix my Bondo. I am always having to use what ever I can find when I need to mix up a little of Bondo, This setup makes it nice, clean and easy to get the job done without a lot of fuss and I always know where I have just what I need when I have to do a little of fill work. This is the perfect setup for my needs.
