Needed this adapter so I could plug in an electric air compressor for potential flat or leaky tires for
my adventure bike. Tested it and works like a hot damn!

Only recently received this. It is destined for a current project and I am not ready to use them yet.. When I do I will update this review. Otherwise the wiring looks solid and high quality as do the connectors. Let’s see how they stand up to real world temps, humidity, and radiation.

If the fuse size for the battery tender cable is 7.5 amp, just change the fuse to a 10 amp or 15 amp fuse for powering accessories. Do some research.
The polarity is not an issue either. The positive wire does not know if it is wrapped in red or black. This product powers the 12 V socket perfectly. In my case the positive wire is wrapped in red from the battery to this product and then wrapped in black to the 12 V socket.
I’m writing this review because Amazon does not let you comment on other customers reviews. The seller may want to address these two issues in the product detail or the question section.

This is a quick release I didn’t need I just cut it and wired in to my battery however either way you do it it’s very well bullt and not light duty I’d say medium duty.. it’s long I didn’t use how much it came with but it’s plenty for even use in a car or a boat .. it works fantastic no problems

Put this on my 09 KLR650 to run USB power from the Battery Tender pigtail already connected to my battery to my handlebars to plug in my phone charger. In my application it is running from just above my left foot peg, up the frame to the center of the bike, then under the fuel tank up to the steering head and then the handlebars. The heavy guage of this wire and seemingly thick jacket and solid connections with no exposed copper are comforting since this wire is carrying full battery power alongside metal components. I will always keep an eye on that for chafing and wear, but so far so good!

At least the SAE connector is correctly polarized on these long power cables, so that the 12-volt lighter socket delivers the + & – properly for cell phone chargers. Another short heavier cable recently delivered has the red wire to the wrong female socket in its SAE connector, which should be the connector end to be installed on the vehicle supply side, not this accessory. This longer 2-pack of power cables included the handy “polarity reversing connector adapter”, which was not included with the shorter heavy cable. Quality seems good.
