I have a 24 volt solar panel and used this with an inverter to charge a 12v deep cycle battery. I bought other pig tail connectors so I wasn’t splicing anything. I’m not sure if the connector on this or the pigtails are reversed. Once I got my meter out I figured out that I had it wired backwards at the inverter. Just pay attention. Very solid wiring and connectors.
