First of all the idea of having a foam sprayer without a pressure washer is amazing. I used this 3 times. First two experience was decent even though it was not great it served its purpose. However, 3rd time it failed it stopped throwing the foam. I checked for anything that might cause the problem but no solution. It looks like a waste of money according to my experience. If you are lucky and yours can last longer than it may worth buying it.

This is the first foamer kettle I’ve owned. I like that it charges via USB-C which is almost everywhere these days. The socket for charging is on the body of the foamer behind the handle. I found it a little hard to get the charging cable in at first but, once I’d gotten the hang of it it was relatively easy. A cable with an angled USB-C plug might make that easier but it’s not a deal breaker for me.
Once charged, operation is relatively simple. You fill the screw-off kettle base with the water/soap mix of your choice. For washing my car, I used about 100 ml of proprietary car wash liquid with 900 ml of warm water for a total of one liter of liquid. Quick tip: add the detergent after the water to avoid things foaming over while you fill up.
Once filled, operation was simple. There’s a 90 degree on/off selector on the top of the unit which locks the unit to avoid accidental foam release. Once set to “on”, you can either quick press for short blasts of foam or click on for continuous feed. The listing says the unit can easily wash more than one car per fill, but I found it was as good as empty once I’d fully coated my Toyota Solara Coupe so I think that’s wishful thinking. That said, I only ever wash my cars one at a time so that’s about the perfect capacity for me. Ideally I don’t want any solution left after cleaning, since it will only go to waste.
I used to sponge my car down with a bucket of soapy water. I can’t say this really makes a lot of difference as I still have to go over the car with a bucket of clear water and sponge to really get the dust and grime off, so there’s no real time saved for me. It could be a boon in a car “wand” wash when you just want to use the pressure rinse to get the soap off afterward. Even without that, it is a fun thing to play with and I can imagine I will find other domestic uses for it.

I’ve been using this handheld foam sprayer, and it has impressed me with its performance. The controls are excellent, offering the flexibility to use momentary power or toggle it on and off as needed. The foam output is impressive and does a great job of covering surfaces evenly.
The battery life is decent, but there’s room for improvement, and the charging speed could be faster. Despite this, the foam itself is top-notch. I primarily use it to clean engine bays, and it works effectively for this task.

I do have a great foam cannon to use with a pressure washer, but the problem is having to coat the whole car, then rush to wipe it clean before the suds either slide off or get dried in the sun; or do one side, remove to rinse, then reattach to continue, etc. This is a great option to keep your pressure washer for just water, and this for the foam. At first, I was nervous about the amount of pressure, but tested it with only water and was happy that it definitely has enough pressure to do what it’s supposed to do. The only real issue is that the container itself is pretty small. While it’s roughly the same size (volume) as my pressure washer version, this battery operated version doesn’t quite go as far (presumably directly related to pressure). But I still definitely like the idea of using this as well as my pressure washer for just the water/rinsing. This sprayer HAS NO CORDS OR HOSES TO WORRY ABOUT! Just pick it up, press the button and go wherever you need to without tripping. If you’re looking for a foam cannon that’s EASY to use (even if you need to refill it a couple of times per car), this seems to be a nice option. Convenient.

The USB charging is convenient, but battery life seems limited during extended washing sessions. The foam generation is decent, though most people will desire more consistent pressure and coverage for best cleaning results.
