Good concept. It is well designed, but the quality of some of the components is less than desired. The pieces that are powder coated are fine, but the long bolts are very easily damaged. Because of the tight fit of the design the long bolts have to be physically manipulated into position for alignment. Not a problem for most. The problem is that the bolts are made of such soft metal that by the time you begin to engage the threads of the bolts you have probably already gurred up the threads. My was fine after replacing the threaded bolts with better quality from my local hardware store.

This works great, but make sure it does not shift and rub a hole in your AC line. Mine did and it was an added expense. I ended up trimming the top bracket to clear the AC line and also coved the line with a rubber hose to protect the line.

The components seem pretty solid. Unfortunately one of the holes in the upper tray which the threaded poles are supposed to fit through was smashed in so I couldn’t feed the pole through it. If you can’t properly install the upper tray it kind of renders the entire thing useless. I couldn’t decide between this and the Smittybilt tray; I wish I would have gone with the Smittybilt.
