My car performance, and gas mileage improved using this oil filter. I’ve driven the car for 1,500 miles.
I just need to see, how it performs later, when it reaches 7k to 10k miles.
It’s well made, and worth every penny.
I was using Mobil 1 filter prior, and will definitely go with RP going forward.

I’ve been using the Royal Purple oil filters for years and have not had any issues with them. I think they’re great filters for older cars like my son’s 2012 Honda Civic and 2015 Subaru Forester. I change out the filter every 8.000-10,000km with good synthetic oil (not Royal Purple). The only issue I have with these oil filters by this brand is they’re so ridiculous priced on Amazon! I had to get them from the US website when someone I know is travelling from the US to Canada. Otherwise, I’d use the Mobil1 oil filters.

This is NOT a counterfeit, IT IS arguably the BEST oil filter you can buy at this time. Over the past year this product has been improved by utilizing a nylon center core/cage which allows for optimal oil flow. Oil pressure will never impact the nylon cage because that pressure is absorbed by the wire mesh that supports the filter media. That filter media has been proven, by recent independent testing, to provide industry leading filtration efficiency. Also the can is built to racing specifications so you can count on the can being extremely durable and the gasket being able to withstand 625psi burst pressure which is double the industry benchmark compared to what is used on lesser spin-on can oil filters. This oil filter is literally the best of all worlds and it truly is worth every penny of the purchase price for those who seriously invest in the best for their vehicle. This is not to mention that it looks great in that beautiful purple color with the exclusive purple silicone anti-drain back valve!

Royal purple aka the purple shit is hands down the best synthetic on the market. Unless you use a standard oil filter or an oem on from the company that built the car because they screw up the royal purple. So buy the synthetic and buy the RP filter and your engine will last far longer and preform far superior you can even put more km/m on your vehicle between changes as the Royal Purple’s viscosity stays far superior far long than a conventional synthetic and even most of the competitions high grade synthetics. Rolled 0-2million on my civic odometer with out a mojor repair other than maintenance because i used it from day one had the factory garbage drained and swapped on day of purchase.

This is not a counterfeit oil filter. It’s just a new and updated oil filter that is made by Champion Laboratories Inc. Definitely a high quality product. A lot of people dislike the plastic center tube but I prefer them since they are stronger than metal and have large openings provide great oil flow along with a lot of inlet holes on the base plate. This Royal Purple oil filter and also Purolator Boss are the only filters I use.

I use Royal Purple oil on my Triumph motorcycles. This is the first time I am using the matching Filters. The filter appears to be well made. Installation was ‘normal’.
I will only know for sure in a few thousand miles about the effectiveness of the filter.
The product is fairly pricey, but I am fairly picky about my motorcycles, too!

I do like these filters, given I use synthetic and go a good 7 to 9k miles, or 2 to 4 years between changes. Price is more than other filters – but the quality justifies this easy….. If you change your oil every 3,000 miles or 3 months it may not be worth the money….. I take care of and work on my own cars – and baby them…. but oil every 3k miles – never gonna happen unless water gets in there or the car is at 3k and sat for 3 years or more in the garage.

The Amsoil EA15k13 hasn’t been available for about the past year so I had to lower my standards and get this filter. I have heard they are the same filter. If they are the same, why is the micron rating for the RP 25 and 20 for the Amsoil? It was difficult to buy something other than an Amsoil oil filter, that’s all I have been using for the past 19 years. I guess it’s a good filter. No problems so far.

I installed this on a 2019 Infiniti QX60, once I managed to find where it goes in that obnoxious labyrinth. I mean, behind the wheel well? Whose awesome idea was that? But anyway…
I can attest that it’s the same size as the factory one and it goes on without the slightest complaint. The car runs and isn’t leaking oil, so I assume that means it’s working!
